About the "JTC Alumni: Independent / Entrepreneur Guild"
The event brings together executives and entrepreneurs who have worked at large Japanese companies (JTCs) and have since struck out on their own—running startups, sole proprietorships, or freelance practices. Its aim is to let them connect on equal footing across roles and industries, cheer each other's challenges on, and create the relationships and opportunities that come from helping one another.
Why Three Companies Co-Hosted
This guild was made possible by three companies, each founded by people who came out of a different large corporation.

Leach is a startup founded by members who came out of Toshiba. We work on AI technology consulting and on industry-specific AI systems that move work forward with the press of an approval button.
Taking experience from a large company and stepping into a new challenge—because we took that step ourselves, we want to support others doing the same. We will keep working to build a community where people who share that ambition gather and raise each other up.
