(Location: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, hereinafter ExaEdge), improving the accuracy of Natural Language Processing (NLP) utilizing OpenAI's ChatGPT technology and optimizing processing speed.
Through this support, we improved the analysis accuracy of legal documents, enhanced the summarization algorithm, significantly improved processing speed, and contributed to reducing the burden of corporate legal work and improving operational efficiency. As a result, ExaEdge achieved a 40% reduction in operating costs for the service.
■ Issues Before Technical Support Introduction
AI LegalSummarizer provided by ExaEdge is used as an AI tool to support analysis and summarization of contracts and terms, but further accuracy improvement and faster processing were required. With the conventional summarization model, it was difficult to appropriately extract professional expressions in contract documents, making it difficult to provide consistent summaries. For this reason, the person in charge at the user company had to scrutinize the results, which did not contribute sufficiently to improving operational efficiency.
Also, although the system supported real-time processing, it took time for analysis results to return when processing a large amount of documents, which hindered rapid decision-making. Furthermore, in system operation, there were many tasks dependent on manual work by specific personnel, and the burden of continuous optimization and new feature development was heavy. Leach's technical support was introduced to solve these issues and realize the provision of more accurate and faster summaries and operational efficiency.
■ Technical Support Provided by Leach
Leach implemented technical support with the aim of improving analysis accuracy, optimizing summarization algorithms, improving processing speed, and reducing personal operational burden of AI LegalSummarizer.
First, we performed fine-tuning of LLM (Large Language Model) utilizing ChatGPT to strengthen adaptation to technical terms and legal expressions specific to contracts. Since the conventional model could not sufficiently consider the context and lacked consistency in summaries, we implemented summarization technology combining search and generation by utilizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). This enabled dynamic information acquisition and provided more accurate contract summaries.
Next, we optimized the summarization algorithm and strengthened ChatGPT's Attention Mechanism. This realized high-precision summaries that appropriately extract key information from long contracts and terms while maintaining consistency of meaning. We also improved the importance scoring algorithm to appropriately extract key items of contracts in a form that aligns with the workflow of user companies.
Furthermore, to shorten the response time of analysis results, we introduced a serverless configuration utilizing Firebase and optimized system load balancing. This enabled the provision of faster analysis results while reducing the processing load of the AI model. Also, to reduce the burden of system operation, we reduced tasks dependent on manual work by personnel and improved to an architecture where continuous improvement is easy.

Through Leach's technical support, ExaEdge achieved the following results.
- Contract analysis accuracy improved by 30%, significantly reducing false detections
- Summarization processing speed improved by 2.5 times, enabling real-time analysis of large amounts of contracts
