This event was held for the purpose of creating new businesses in the region, gathering participants interested in entrepreneurship and business innovation. □ Introduction of Background
First, he introduced his background. He had internship experience at three startups, and since all of them later went public, he shared that he was strongly conscious of starting a business even before joining a company.
He stated, "While large corporations are strong, the only chance for startups to enter is at a technological turning point," citing the transition period to smartphones at the time he joined Toshiba (2015) as a turning point. While considering various topics after that, he explained the process of deciding to start a business in 2024, convinced that "Generative AI will bring about innovation greater than the Internet."
□ Changes Before and After Founding, Finding Partners, Acquiring Customers
Touching on changes before and after founding, he introduced his own experience: "I realized that starting a business has lower risks than I imagined. Once you resign and make up your mind, work actually starts coming in."
Regarding finding partners and acquiring customers, which are most important at the time of founding, he advised, "It is important to utilize your existing network, and clearly demonstrate your intention to start a business to those around you."
□ How to Find Business Ideas
Regarding how to find business ideas, he explained specific methods such as "thoroughly analyzing business models of companies with high operating profit margins among listed companies" and "researching businesses conducted by overseas startups."
He also stated, "I went for direct hearings at Nabel Co., Ltd. in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, and grasped the real DX issues faced by SMEs. This collection of primary information has led to the development of new services."
As a future outlook, he revealed the policy to aim for the revitalization of the regional economy and the strengthening of Japan's competitiveness by working on operational efficiency and productivity improvement of local companies, including DX, utilizing Generative AI technology under Leach Inc.'s mission of "Regaining Japan as No.1."
